EOI Front Slotted Rotor + EBC Green Brake Pad Group Buy

Postby suff » Fri Jan 25, 2008 3:54 pm

Hi Guys

After much mucking around, I think I have finally found a Pad / Rotor combo that Im happy with.. have used the same combo on previous cars, and never had an issue.. despite everyone's favour for DBA, I see no major difference in the RDA rotor for daily / sport driving, at the track may be a different story, but thats not my scene

On that note I thought a few of you guys might be interested in a group buy...

Rotors are an RDA Slotted Rotor
Pads are EBC GreenStuff

I have used the Greens on lots of cars previously, very very low dust levels (almost none!), initial bite is good, not great, but once warm is fantastic, they are a fairly quite pad, and dont chew the rotors (IMHO)

Bundle price will be about $360-370 a set (for front rotors and pads) plus around $30-40 delivery to most places...

this offers a big discount as the cheapest I hand find the set for is just over $500..

Let me know if your interested, if I get enough numbers ill organise it..

Please note that I am not making any money on this, so there will be a six pack of beer tax applied to any sales!

(P.S. Can get the rear rotors + pads, about the same price)

Cheers

Chris

I am definitely interested, and am in Perth too.

What is the size of the rotors? fit under standard calipers for an 04 2.5i Liberty?

Hey Mate

the 2.5i uses a 277mm diameter rotor and 24mm thickness... the GT's are 316mm x 30mm..

I cant see why I couldnt get the rotor you need, so I will check, but I will need to get at least 10 people interested to get that price.. (Doesnt need to be 10 of the same, but for easiness it would be better if they are!)

Price should be about the same

Hi Adam

Fairly sure they are, but will check for you..

Bad news is the original price I was quoted is for the wrong pads.. total price is $447 for the following:

1 x EBC Green Stuff Street Race Pads (Full Set of Front Pads (4 pieces))
4 x EBC Specific Anti Squeal Shims
2 x RDA Slotted directional Rotors

Delivery is about $30-40 for most parts of AUS.. I will be fitting these to my car tomorrow, so if wanted I will do a write up on how to do it (incase you didnt already know :) )
