So thanks to the advice from this forum and the tyre guy I put Kumho KU 31's on my ride- I opted for the 225/45/r17 they fitted the guards better and gave a bigger footprint plus they put the rubber before the rim so a bit of insurance against scraping. The first place I went to the guy was a complete numbat- I told him I was after a PERFORMANCE TYRE and he tried to sell me on Maxxis - which I hate, and then Bridgestone Ecopia

I just walked out and gave my money to Tyre Power in Fremantle- Great service and advice. Next was time for Brakes I ended up going for Akebono Rotors and Pads for the fronts, can anyone say DUSTLESS still bedding in but if the guys with Bimmers and Benz are anything to guy by these should be a good, long lasting pad even with the occasional spirited drive. The rotors look awesome. Car now drives and handles much better.
