Rim measurement fail

Turns out I had a huge fail on my rim measurement.

I measured overall width, which is obviously wider than what is considered rim width

Mine are the other kind - 7.5 +45, with 235.

So I take back the times I've said I fit 8.5 +35 with no modification.

To be honest I'm surprised no one pulled me up on it :D

:suicide:

 I always wondered how you fit yours with no gaurd work considering mine are 8.5 +35 and it took some work to fit. And all this time i thought id been doing something wrong..

For reference this is 8.5 +35 with -3 camber in the rear. Cant fit my pinky between gaurd and wheel..

Always loved your setup, Dean. With -3 on the rear (and about -1.5 to -2 up front?) do you find any detrimental effect on day to day driving and tyre wear? More tramlining on our lovely Sydney roads or is it neglegable?

Rooby - yep, FAIL! ...but in your defence you weren't to know as you didn't buy them new, plus you were given a bum-steer by the wheel guys. I just thought you had some special wide body limited edition Lib to fit with no mods...
