So, in my hunt for finding wheels that fit Subaru's ever popular 5x100 I came across a brand called Koya, they seem to be an Australian based company, although I doubt the wheels are made here.

Just curious as to whether anyone has ever heard of these before. Basically they stock 'blank' wheels, on which they can drill any stud pattern and have a good range of sizes and can custom make any offset you want.

Wouldn't be expecting great quality, hopefully equivalent to Rota's as they're not much more including the custom fitment. Although if I did get these (looking at the Koya RG, which I'm pretty sure is just a copy of the Advan RG) they would become my daily wheels and the enkeis would be my track wheels so I wouldn't bother repairing them....

Very nice wheels and excellent build quality / paint finish.......

had a set on the rear of the track car for a while... several ripple strip excursions and 1 or 2 up kerbs... decent build quality as they didnt just explode..

So even though these are the same price as Rotas and very similar styles they are stronger??? Just thinking about rims for the "beater" that could clear future brembos

What size are you going to get? They are definately good value for money especially that you can customize to your liking!!

I got recommended to get RG's by a tyre shop over here in WA but couldnt figure out how they would look as i could only find pictures of them on silvias and skylines!! CR's look good aswell just dont like that they only come in matt black. Will you run center caps that you can buy for them?

I'll probably be getting 18"x8.5", with an offset I'll have to work out, about +40 though as I'd want to try and run at least a 245 Centre caps if I can run the standard STi ones I'll do that.

The RGs are the same style as the Advan RG or the Rota Boost for both of which there should be plenty of pics floating around

Perfect size i reckon. Maybe +38, but now we're getting picky :p

Out of interest, anything bad about mixing offsets? Say +44 for the fronts and +35 for the rears or something like that?

Ooohh yeh. I have been looking for wheels for a bit now and have liked the koya rims and those RG Tek are in 19's.... Ooohh baby me likie big time as they look like ssr type c's !!!
