Just wondering who everyone would recommend?

I'm thinking whiteline, but I an confused at what I need...
Should I go adjustable. The car will never see the racetrack but will go on a few windy roads from time to time.

In terms of parts... Is there a difference for wagons?
If its possible could someone handy identify the parts I need?

For the price of Whiteline, its hard to go past it.
Get a rear adjustable & links, set it to medium.
Try that, then if you want get a front one and set the rear to hard

I was going to look at front a rear. Starting with the front. Is this advisable?

Rear first. Get heavy duty mounts too.

RS is sitting in the garage. Tidying it up to sell, against my wishes

definitely get rear first... and definitely get the aftermarket mounts..

once you see how the rear bar is mounted... you will understand why you NEED the mounts..

just FYI there are only 2 settings on the blade adjustable rear bar.. set it to stiff, anything softer is for poofs.. :p

oh, and for the love of baby jesus dont pay some muppet to install it... easiest job EVER!! start to finish took me 15 minutes...

i'd definitely go whiteline, they are stiffer than the cusco alternatives.. and lets face it, weight doesnt really matter with these cars...

Don’t forget the free knocking sound that comes with the Whiteline sway bars…… why so many end up in the for sale section on this forum.

to be honest (not having compared them side by side) its going on previous experience with cusco vs whiteline..

much of the cusco range is hollow, compared to whitelines which are all solid... sure the cusco ones are lighter and due to materials used are still stiffer than factory, but not as stiff as a solid bar..

I did a lot of research on this for my track car, my brothers and a mates.. the cars were (jzz20 soarer, ae86 corolla, mitsu evo 8MR) similar across the nissan range from what i've seen..

without dragging up specific figures, the averages were around this:

BAR STIFFNESS
Stock 100%
Cusco 140%
Whiteline 195%

that was for front bars... the differences were more profound for rear bars... whiteline one was around 260% stiffer than stock..

sure that was for different model cars, but unless for some reason the liberty doesnt follow the above, the figures speak for themselves..

each to their own though... i know a lot of people go for cusco bars and will defend them to the death due to the whole JDM yO! thing...

oh.. and as for knocking... mine dont make any noise at all..

had them on my supra, soarer, trueno, brothers sprinter, mates evo8, mates GTB, mates stagea, mates r34.. etc.. etc...

no noises... at all...

bit of squeaking after a while... but a bit of marine grade grease sorts that out no problem..

if so, a guy that built a a70 supra IPRA car had an engineer test them.. dont ask me how.. im not an engineer..

he posted his findings on his build blog.. i tracked him down and gave him a call before buying my bars...

the info regarding the ae86 bars and evo bars were collected from various tech forums (i imagine people did something similar to the engineer).. as for the evo i went on information from a friend who runs a targa west/targa tassie evo9... suggestions made by him, he had run both Cusco and Whiteline...

so no... not the websites..
