spring options

Hey guys, Ive done a bit of searching and ive given up reading so just decided to post.

After reading some threads on springs ect i have decided i want to throw on some new ones (or possibly some good 2nd hand ones) but im not too sure on what to do. In my opinion is my car is already fairly low and i wouldnt want to go a heap lower (about 10mm?), im more interested in changing the feel of the ride. After reading it seems a lot of people are opting for the TEIN springs, kings springs or others, but i wouldnt mind a set of some pink STI's as long as they would fit my 04 R-B with the stock bilsteins

So if i could just have some opinions on what people prefer, and the amount the springs would drop the ride from stock that would be great. Not really interested in coilovers at the moment, unless some came up pretty cheap. Its not a priority though.

Having had the S-techs on my Bilsteins for about 15,000km, I can say that the ride height is good but I think it's more like a 25mm drop instead of the 10mm you are after. However the ride itself is horrible when going over any sort of potholes / bumps.
Ride itself on smooth roads is decent enough, but I wouldn't recommend the S-techs to anyone looking for a good ride.

As for the STi pinks just from what I have read on the forums, people say that the STi pinks actually ride a little firmer generally than the S-techs but they are far better when hitting larger bumps.

I'm looking to get rid of my S-techs eventually, because honestly I just don't like them all that much. That is probably compounded by the fact that my rear springs make knocking sounds on bumps and have done so ever since I had them installed.

thanks for the help guys, still not too sure on what ill do. Ive had a few more looks at the car and im not sure i even want it any lower, but a ride that is less harsh would be great

I had a look before and the gap is about 2.5 to 3 finger widths. it doesnt look high or silly so it doesnt bother me
