A heads-up to anyone needing tyres soon - Tempe Tyres have a sale on eBay with various Pirelli, Kumho, Falken, Continental, Bridgestone and Dunlop tyres dirt cheap and with free shipping - e.g. Kumho KU-31 225/40R18 for $150 per corner:

Good one - I just bought a set of KU-31's (215/45R17) from St George Tyres that were $500 for 4 tyres plus $60 for fitting so $140 per tyre in total.
Not sure what their R18's would have been but that sounds like a great deal!

Nice one!
A month ago I bought Kumho KU31's in 225/45/18 from St. George Tyres for $150 per corner (plus valves, balance and fitting, so a total of about $160 per corner). At the time I purchased, Tempe were only $5 more expensive per tyre for the same package, so I decided to give St. George a shot to see what they were like.
Looks like Tempe are upping the ante.

Be sure to check the manufactures dates, both these places are notorious for selling tyres which are a few years old.

The KU39 is the successor to the KU31, which is why KU31's are dirt cheap. The KU39 should be as good or potentially better than the KU31.
