About to fork out for new hoops and got a decent price on some Rosso's to replace the RE050's (can you believe the cheapest price for the Bridgies has been $490 each!!!!!)

Any opinions on Yoko Advan V103's?

i got coldjet2 some for $380 each.......

current wheels or motor mag said they were 270 ish.. one year ago it was 450...

Motor Mag were quoting price for Commondore sizes (245/45/18) which are much cheaper. As we have the Ferrari tax imposed and virtually no one runs the 215/45/18 size.

Ok, new best price is $445 for the 050, but can get a 225/45/18 Adrenalin for $260 tyre... maybe that's the way to go as they've had good reviews?

Don't bother with the 050 because they are OEM and reasonable comfort tyres - OEM tyres are f##king expensive as it is.

I'd suggest Hankook R-S2 Z212. Lower end of $2xx per tyre, and phenomenal grip.

Can you run 225/45 or 225/40? I think that size is more common *cough*rice Lancers on 18s *cough*

225/45 is only a 6mm increase in overall diameter, about 1%. 225/40 loses about 15mm in overall diameter.

I am running 215/45/18 Pirelli P-Zero Rosso tyres on my Lib STI. Awesome tyre for wet and dry mate. have not priced them but figure you wouldn't get any change from $500 a corner after balancing, alignment etc.

Don't buy Falken 329s if you want good wet weather grip.

i think this definitley one of those area's where a little time spent on the phone or running around negotiating prices is time well spent...

Running rosso asymms, good luck finding a cheap price....... it will make you cringe when u open ur wallet.
Cheapest I got was mid 6 per corner; highest was in the 7-8 bracket, that was last year though.

I'm happy with the tyre. I'd get them as a replacement, when time comes.

Damn, I was told they were $275 retail. The lease agreement I'm on gets them at a fleet rate though. Just have to wait till the lease statements roll in.

I got the adrenalins for $250 a corner fitted, VS the 050's (which I Love!) for $330.. Bridgestone assure me the Adrenalins are actually a better tyre. we will see!

I'd be interested to know, all I can find in terms of reviews is people saying they are CRAP in the wet...
