2004 MY05 GT-B: Suspension too firm

Hey guys,
I find the Bilstein suspension setup on my MY05 GT-B a bit too firm (it's basically just driven around town/to the mountain, never goes on the track). Is there anything to soften the ride? I don't want to part with the factory 18" wheels. I'm already riding 245 Potenzzas.

A set of standard Gen4 KYB's will be noticeably softer.

Are they a straight swap? Do you know of anyone that has done this?

Direct swap. I changed my KYB's to Billies as I thought they were too soft.

You have a JDM Legacy? The JDM Billies are firmer than the AUDM ones. I have JDM ones in my GT and they are firm.

Possibly stupid questions, but:
Can I use the same springs? If so, are the spring rates a concern? How could I expect the car to drive afterwords?
Does anyone know the part number for the KYB struts?

You can use the same springs and the rates will be suitable. It will ride softer due to the dampening rate of the KYB's.
Part numbers for struts....
Front Rear
Left 334373 341353
Right 334372 341353

Its a shame you asked this question about 2 weeks too late.
I sold a set of 2 week old Gen4 KYB struts p/n's as listed above for $50. They had done only 500kms before being removed for coilovers.
Your looking at around the $600 mark for these struts new.

Think about getting the Bilsteins serviced too - they are known to develop a fair bit of stiction over time.
