They're a fraction smaller than OEM Sti Brembo discs (not by much - 2mm) and personally I'd avoid cross-drilled discs if you are a hard driver (especially if you drive down mountains a lot) or you risk cracking them. Been there and done it.

You can get OEM STi Brembo's with discs on eBay for as low as $1,300 with a bit of perseverance, which is not much extra (especially when you take the $200 postage into account in the eBay listing). A set from an MY06 WRX STi in Sydney (with 5x114 PCD, annoyingly) went just earlier this week for that price.

I have been watching the brembos's on ebay, they usually sell with the standard rotors, once you factor in some new
decent rotors get a bit pricey.
I found some ap's from a gc8 rex, does anyone know if they are the same bolt up?

Any brake packages that directly bolt onto a WRX will generally bolt directly onto a Liberty, though you may need an adapter for rear caliper packages.

I just recently scored myself a full set of 4-piston MY06 WRX calipers (including 2-piston rears) at a reasonable price off eBay, so I'll be whacking those onto my Liberty 2.5i within the next few days once I get some spare time.

Once I see a cheap set of Brembos with 5x100 PCD discs off an earlier STi, I'll be grabbing those assuming a reasonable price can be bid. EDIT: And wouldn't you know a relatively cheap set of Brembo's came up on eBay, so now I'm abandoning the WRX caliper idea.

I am not 100% sure on these pairs and I can't access Wilwood website right now.
But a lot of Wilwood calipers does not come with dust boots or dust seals, thus actually making them illegal to use on road in most states.

I personally would only put on something with a good reputation. You don't want to be experimenting with brakes on a road car.

About $200 each from Tuspeed.

You will also need the adapter bracket to install the rear Brembo calipers. Fronts just bolt straight on.

Finally you will also need to have wheels that can clear the Brembos. Almost anything with 45 offset or more but it depends on spoke design.

This could be an expensive exercise by the time you are done!
