Hey everyone,
My first post here,

I happen to be the luckiest 16yo in Australia, I bought a 2006 liberty as my first car.

Im just not sure on what direction to go with rims.
My liberty is Metalic Gray (I will post a pic under this thread) with a very luxurious look to it, I want to keep it classy but I feel it needs just a little kick up.
Im feeling Matte Black or Dark Gray.

Any suggestions??

I would go black, but I'm biased like that

If your pockets are deep then get some BBS wheels black with a chrome dish.. 18" is a sensible size but you'll need to lower the car to fill in the guards a little more and tuck the wheels in nicely - specially with aftermarket rims.

These look the goods but be prepared to spend some serious dosh on them.


I would eventually love these, black car, red calipers etc etc

good purchase buddy! my lib is my very first car too and I'm loving it!! on the rims really depends how much you wanna spend, sure those bbs Sean has shown are sexy but come with a pretty high price tag, defo dark on silver looks very nice but in my opinion no chrome!

If your after a classy rim, go for something with a dark mesh design and a polished lip with a little dish if possible.

It was a look i was going for on my family previous car.......

what's your budget?

Bbs are very costly, and if that was me I wouldn't be getting them as an L player could get a little gutter rash from parking as a beginner which would ruin the hella outta those nice rims!

But up to you, black would look sexy!

Keep the standard rims and spend the money you save on really good tyres.

That commodore it hot crusin!!

..don't get me wrong chrome can get look great on any car, but cheap chrome is yucky

I agree with this, but if I was to get new wheels, it would be some STi Enkeis or the Rota copies, something that looks stock but fits over some good brakes.

Edit: although those BBS with red lip that sean posted are sexy.
