I'm considering epic bumpstops or similar for the fronts if they're a little shorter and firmer...
No. At the end of the day the springs were just a bit too low (and in front too) and stiff for my liking and I removed them.
I installed the US spec Epic Engineering springs which are supposed to be rebranded Eibachs. No issues with fitment or ride height. The ride height front and rear is a tiny bit lower than stock but slightly higher than the ride height of others on this forum who have installed the Phat edition Tiens.
Handling has returned to around stock RB levels as the springs are taller and softer and more progressive but I sort of expected that but the car is far easier to live with. I'm finding the car does initially lean more in corners than I would like due to the progressive nature of the springs, despite having the Cusco sway bars, and there is some pitch and lack of control etc when making some rapid turns of directions. I think the Cuscos are better matched with firmer suspension. Having said that overall the car is still quite good for now.
I'm thinking that perhaps I should have got Swift springs instead as they may have been midway between these springs and the Epics in terms of firmness and ride height.
Next year I will do what I should have done from day one - get some quality coilovers. I'm not going to muck around and I will get Ohlins. I now know more about what Coilovers are all about and what they are capable of how and they can be fine tuned etc.
They are pricey but considering the costs of parts and and labour etc of getting new Wheelpower Bilsteins and two sets of springs which aren't quite right, I would have been better off committing to one large expense and having the car's suspension exactly how I want it.
