Hey, today my car started to randomly shudder when I use the brakes, does this mean the rotors are rooted?

Were you braking hard? Normal driving? Any noises? only when cornering etc...

After some hard braking try to find the source it went away

Sounds like they're warped, but then you un-warped them by overheating them again haha.

mine seem to shudder only when breaking at higher speeds, so anywhere above 90km/hr my mechanic said its most likely the rotors need to be machined as the pads have been replaced as I had a major service only a month ago, he said it isn't a major problem just a 'do it when you've had enough' ..

if its only at high speeds it sounds like its just started warping, which can be fixed with a machine. Bad warping can't be fixed by machining it as there's too much variance.

In m experience, above 90km/hr wobble under brakes means you need the car on a hoist and check your LCAs
In the end this was what was wrong with mine!
Machining rotors helped but putting new LCA's in has completely stopped any wobble.

for me my steering wheel shudders abit and you can hear/feel some vibration

Same here. Thought it was my rotors but it was the LCAs... Only happened when braking above 80km.

This could be my problem right there, I don't know alot but what are LCA's??

LCA= Lower control arm

Did you guys need to change the whole LCA or just the bushing?

Arm was fine so just the bushes which I had replaced with the j speed/PhatGT ones.
