So.. What's the going rate for a set of these, both new and secondhand.
How nice is the ride comfort, and how does it handle?

Yeah, bout $1700-1800 new delivered from Japan. Is it much difference compared to the stock KYB ones? I find that with the KYB and kg/mm springs I have now, when I go over speed humps it's quite harsh... will the Bilsteins help that?

Are the Bilsteins stiffer than the stock shocks? I heard that they have a larger valve so the rebound is slower.

Considering the 'allround' job the bilstein/sti package offers its not a bad piece of gear. The ride is taught but its far from bone jarring, running lower springs than the pinks would probably kill the ride, and eventually the shocks. But moreso the handling package is quite sound. Plenty of grip available, a little boaty for my liking but its a trade off. Altho i will be going coilovers myself.
