2010/11 Lowering

Has anyone lowered their 2010/11 Liberty GT :?: I really want to drop mine, but I want to see pictures first of different branded springs. I know both King and Pedders offer lowered springs now, but they just dont sound very much lower. As the car sits so high at the front I would of thought I'd need a 2" drop.

Please post most pics and the brand of spring you have used.

Cheers

I'm just about to order some STi springs from Japan for my wagon. I'm just after something a little firmer than stock and not really after a drop in ride height... And I like to keep things as close to OEM as possible. Will post up some pics when it's completed.

Yeah I saw your work, he was a member on here. The tiens weren't 2" from memory, but it was perfect.

I have fitted the STi springs from Japan in my MY10 wagon, and i am very happy with the result. It sits about 20mm lower and they don't seem to have altered the ride much at all. They do seem to add a bit more stability through bumpy corners though. Not as much wallowy movement from the back as before.

This is a photo of it with the STi springs in and 19"s.

I'm in NSW. I was looking at TEIN's but MRT said that the ride was really bad. What's your thoughts? I've had peddar super lows on my commodore and didn't find that to bad.

I'd love to see q pic PHAT GT.

Shock - Horror!
MRT tells you something that they don't sell will give you a bad ride!!!!

I suppose they then went on to tell you how good their product is that they will sell you?

Actually He would supply TEINs for the same price as the Kings Springs. Which is why I wanted to do some research first

I got my STi springs from a friend who was working in Japan at the time. I paid $550 for them.

So I had the GT lowered on Pedders springs. It's not a low as I would of liked but at least it doesn't look like a 4WD anymore.

can anyone confirm the correct part numbers for STi pink springs for a 2.5i sports sedan with the Bilsteins?

I read through pages and pages at legacygt forums and could get a clear regarding with all the different specs of bilsteins out there

and it seems like the wagon STi springs would be the best choice for the sedan too to avoid the saggy butt effect?

many thanks
