Pads for 04 Gt.

Postby t.renshaw34 » Thu Aug 18, 2011 1:54 am

Hey guys.
So the time has come to get new brake pads.
This is my first time replacing the pads in my lib as I have only had it 8,000 kms.
I also have a set of DBA 4000's to go on the front when I get my pads changed.

Any suggestions on what pads to get? Prices and where I can get them would be great to.

Cheers
Taylor :)

any ideas (sites, people) who i can get them from?
all the sites i looked at just gave me info on them not prices or places to buy from. :(

Hawk Peformance Ceramic fitted to my Gen2 GT (it had Gen4 GT brakes on it). Did a few track days with those and they held up really well.

Pretty cheap also.

and ask about the A1RM, great pad. Or has the Remsa taken its place?

GSL are phasing them out with Remsa. I was stoked with A1RM they took a beating under all conditions and never smoked.

The Remsa are very well finished (Euro OEM) and I found them less dust than the A1RM but similar cf and temp rating.

For a daily driver the HPC's on mine have done a fantastic job. Somewhere between 60 and 70 thousand kays on them. Will have to get a measurement on them on Thursday but even if they're done they've lasted almost twice as long as I expected. Top pads.
