18 x 7.5" and 8" will fit with the correct offset no worries. Depending on how low, you "may" have to roll the rears.
Brembo's are a direct bolt on to Gen1's like all other Subaru's. Fronts direct fit, you will need dogbone adapters for the rear as other models.
Brembos are massive overkill for an N/A Gen1. Do you plan on doing a turbo conversion?

Even with the weight of the SPL setup, Brembo's are not needed.
The next best is a set of Gen4 GT brakes and about 1/3 the price.
I have a complete set.......

They will bolt straight up front and rear.
I was running them on my '93 Gen2 GT.

'03 - '09.
WRX stuff will bolt up also. Except the 2 pots will need adapters.
Brakes lines dont need to be changed.
Have you checked that the sponginess ion your brakes isnt a stuffed master cylinder?

Id take it to a brake place to get them to test the master cylinder.
Only 2 pot rear wrx brakes and 2 pot rear Brembo's need adapters. All else will be a direct bolt on proposition.
