WRX DBA4000s

Just wanted a quick opinion from the experts.

From my search results it has been discussed that the GT rotors being bigger in size are better than the WRX rotors + 4 pots.

I have seen this set on rexnet:

http://www.rexnet.com.au/forum/index.ph ... ny-subaru/

Which are the slotted DBA 4000s with 4 pot calipers. Gut feeling says it probably isn't worth the upgrade because of the smaller rotor size. BUT due to the fact these are the DBAs would this be a worthwhile upgrade from the stock GT brakes (which Ìve had some high speed shuddering with). The seller says the calipers are bigger than the GT ones...

Thanks for any opinions!

Thanks mate. Have asked for rotor measurement to double check. Will put funds else where if they're the smaller ones.

You don't need new calipers - yours will be fine unless you are building a monster car like Gambit's and are planning on tracking it a lot. Look at getting your rotors machined and a good set of pads. New rotors like DBA4000's will bring a small upgrade for the street and may improve the fade resistance of your brakes.

Thanks smythie... further words of reason to follow... will be letting this pass and looking at pads +/- rotors in the near future.
