Rear suspension Liberty GT Noise

Hi guys, I got 2 questions, please help!!

1) I have a weird creaking noise from the back left shock when I got bumps and speed humps etc, funny thing is, if someone sits there on that side it stops-ish.. but, when it's a wet day, the creaking is constant and louder!

2) How the f*&* do you get to the shock in the rear? I've searched upside down and can't find anything

the strut tops hide under the side trim pieces at the tyre well pretty well right behind the rear seats. They can be a bit of a bugger to get too. Don't know if you can get to the top nut on the strut from there though

Have you lubed the sway bar links recently? They could be bone dry causing the noise.

That sounds like the most probable cause to be honest, and when they get wet it must be the water causing them to make that sound even louder..

What do you guys recommend I use to lube them up? As in what grade / type of grease?

I'm thinking of putting Marine grade blue grease all over them.. At least I know no water will work it away

You can remove them and use any rubber safe grease then re-install them, or for a quick easy fix just spray some CRC/ WD40 lube onto them and it should work its way in.
