Weddsport TC105N & Brembos

Postby Gambit » Mon Mar 07, 2011 9:42 am

Hey guys,
I need some help, looking for anyone that has had a brembo conversion done in melbs and can spare a few minutes, as i want to physically try out one of the wheels on a car with brembos, before i go ahead and buy a set of brembos and find out the spokes do not clear.
Anyhow i am pretty sure they will fit with Brembos but better safe than sorry.
They are 18x8.5 +42 with multi PCD 5x100-114.3
PM me if you can help out sometime.
Cheers

here are the wheels btw

How'd you go? With that width and offset the spokes would have to be very deep to not clear the calipers: 13mm more offset and 12mm more width from centreline than the 12 spokers

Are you certain of the size you are buying?
The official weds site lists the following sizes:
18×8.0J 42 5H-100 R 7.30kg~ \58,275
18×8.0J 42 5H-114.3 R 7.30kg~ \58,275
18×8.5J 32・43 5H-114.3 R 7.70kg~ \59,325

There is no 18x8.5 +42 in 5x100

Given that, try contacting WEDs or their Australian Distributor as they will be able to tell you. sales@autotechnik.com.au
