Spacers

hey guys,

Just bought some new wheel for the lib over the weekend (18 x 8 with a 40 offset), I was wondering if I place 5mm spacers on the rear to get a bit more of a flush look with the guards. will this cause any issues with having different offset to the front wheels.

I heard somewhere that it causes extra stress on a Awd car’s gearbox and drive train. Just like to know if this is true or not?

From Factory the Front & Rear track are different so you should be OK.

3rspecb MY06 sedan
Front track = 1495
Rear track = 1490

3rspecb MY06 wagon
Front track = 1495
rear track = 1485

Why spacers and more stress on wheel bearings etc.

Buy some adjustable lateral links and an eliptical control arm bush. Add track legally and better :p

Keep in mind that wheel spacers are not legal in Australia.
