Just wondering if a 235 tyre woukd fit a STI Enkei 7.5inch wide rim ?

I'd do it...yes from me.

Technically a 235 should sit on a minimum 8" rim. But many places will fit it on a 7.5" for you

Not ideal

I use 225 on mine

After 215/45-18, I went to 225/40-18 as a replacement. People I talked with didn't recommend 235 on a 7.5" even though that's the ideal replacement to match the OD closely with 215/45.

As a spare I think it should be OK...so long as you can fit it in the spare wheel spot

how low is your car?

i run a 235 40 on 8" tb sti wheel, a little rubbing on the rear with tein s tech fitted

i got 235 x 40 on 18 x 7.5 sti rim...now with s techs and no problem at all.

good footprint on the road and much smoother ride than standard 215 x 45.

Thx guys I'll have a go this arvo with the tyre.

Fitting a 235/40/18 on a 7.5" Sti Enkei wheel gives me almost the same rolling diameter like my 19's, with a 0.28% rolling differnece.

It will be only used as a spare to get me to the newest service centre incase of a blowout.

yeah mate got them rolled and went in for 2 flaring sessions , yes its also lowered
