Not likely. If a wheel/tyre was so big it wouldn't fit in the spare well, it wouldn't fit under the guards. There is a huge gap around the 215/45R18 spare in my car.teK-- wrote:Depending on your new wheel/tyre width and overall diameter it may not fit in the spare tyre well.

Quite expensive though $450+ for the 18" but they are more readily available than tyres such as Nitto or Advan which can be a hassle if you get a puncture that cannot be repaired.
