And how low is that? 5mm from the CV boots?

As for the front lip, either get a cheap EZLip or an Ultrex type MY06 WRX one and cut the ends to the Liberty length.

Nope, wrong Outback.

That one looks like a 4WD in comparison.

I could, but they could always go looking for them too.
Which translates to - I couldn't be bothered finding the thread (I didn't start it, so makes it abit harder), finding the pictures them linking them here.

That was a fair while ago now, it looks average at best in that picture.
But it's probably still about that low - just with bigger, wider, *brighter* wheels.

It's about width, offset and tyre choice.
Years and years ago, I had 18 x 7.5" +45 with 225/45/18 tyres and it rubbed and the car was just on Bilsteins with "low" springs.
45 is a tall profile thou, a 40 series wouldn't of rubbed.

Basically any wider than 7.5", any lower offset than +45 will probably need "work" to fit.

Personally Id go the 18x 7.5 +48, but the "illest" kids would go 18 x 8 +35. :D

Do you have coilovers? You'll need them in the front to get enough negative camber to clear the 8" +35 rims.
