When I did my driver training we were instructed to put 36psi cold in every corner, whatever car we were driving.

The instructors did a demo for us. They went through a corner at a set speed with 36 psi and then the same speed with 26 psi. Massive difference.

At 36 psi the vehicle was nicely under control, tyres chirping etc, but no problems. At 26 psi the instuctor came off the track after going into a big tank slapper.

We were told that on a previous demo they ended up rolling the car on 26 psi.

You need to have those psi's if you are going to go around corners.
The pen is mightier than the sword.
