I was going to measure the weight but forgot as i wanted to see the different between the brembo aluminium calipers vs the stock cast iron calipers.

Damn, he's on to me!

When I was at cruisn's place, I did a weight test with two rear calipers and I estimate about 30% weight reduction for the rears. The Brembo's were noticeably lighter.

I'm loving the new brake setup. Pedal feel has been totally transformed. Only downside to the brembo front and oe rears, is that the pedal tavel has been reduced too much, so can't wait to get the rear brembo's on to give me back some pedal travel..

When you do the rears, remember to weigh the old versus the Brembos with the adapters. Will be interesting to see the difference.

Anyway, rears are now on to complete the look.

Have to say i'm over the moon with the outcome. Pedal feel is friggin awesome. Thought i'd loose a litle pedal travel with the brembo rears but no. I'm running aggressive pads so no need to upgrade to an STi booster. My best mate who is a brake engineer also loves the pedal feel...

Looks great - yellow is a much better fit against silver than the original gold colour IMO.
