Going to 18" is going to need 35 or 40 series rubber - a pretty poor compromise in grip, ride and handling. Those wheels you are looking at would still look very nice in 17", will be cheaper than the 18" version and will open to you a cheaper and wider range of very good tyres in 17"

Yes I am moving up from 16". I guess another advantage of the 17" is that rubber is substantially cheaper? (As I am a student, it's always good to save a bit when I can :P) I guess 17 would be a good place to start....
Tech9 have a special on them at the moment, $1250 including tyres, fitting and nuts, is that worthwhile? (I'm guessing they are 17 x 7.5 as it doesn't specify online).

i used kingsprings...the ride is good, its stiff, a bit bumpy, but its still very smooth compared to other cars. my shocks are standard too :)

I'm looking around for new wheels at the moment and I've been saving stacks of photos. Might as well add a few here.
