I'm going to change from the OEM 215/45/18 to the 225/45/18. I think the 40 series will be too low and make the built in speedo error worse.
Subaru gave the '04 STi 225/45 on 7.5" rim compared to the WRX on 7" rim 215/45.
Probably splitting hairs!
Side note, those STi from a few years back that were rally only came with 18x7.5 and were fitted with 235/40s.

i got 225/45/18s on my GTB
they look better and fuller in the guards
speedo is still out.... the speedo will say 100, the digital OBDII thingy says 94, GPS says 94...
i'm also hunting for tyres and thingina bout 224/40s..
