My new PZero - Nero's have that written on the side wall and they are a strictly summer rated tyre which is fine for Perth but maybe not the snowfields in NSW I suggest.

If I remember Ethan works at a tyre shop, so his opinion should account for something if he can back up those words with something concrete.

Which tyres do you want to know more about? Cause the GT's are a fairly new asymmetric tyre designed for large rims. I personally havent owned any but we have fitted the GT's to 3 V8's commodores, 2 Mercs and 1 Audi. BUT the price is fairly jacked up for them so that might be out of your mark. The Pzero if i can remember came with Holden commodores until they switched to the Michelin Pilots.

But the Conti's are well an overpriced German brand which alot of the Euro cars get but end up changing because of (Few complaints from drivers) They are
1. a Loud tyre
2. Wear oddly

Thats just what ive heard if i can find the ones we recently stripped from a Merc ill grab a few pictures and show you the odd wearing. And yes the car was aligned properly

Thanks Ethan, now isn't that a better post then just "Conti = Shit... enuff said"? I just got quoted from a tyre retailer and they are asking about $450 to $500 mark. Damn they are pricey and won't shopping there....

I'm told the Conti3 are standard OEM on some top end Euro cars so it has to have some credit I'd assume.

i would have to agree with coyote.
i am not saying ethan is, but 99% of tyre people i have spoken with have no idea about tyres, let alone suspension. Do you really want to trust what a commo driver thinks of his tyres?? i had a 15 minute argument once with one, on how to setup my mate's wrx. in the end we went down the road and found someone who would do as requested. typre PRO's may listen to the customer, but how many customer know what they are talking about.

I'm runing SportContact2 and they sound a bit louder i think but the handling shits all over RE050A.
My mate owns a BMW workshop and he swears by Contis, most BMW run them and he only runs Conti on his 5+ cars that he owns, from 318 to M5 as well as all of his clientel.
Don't know much about Contact3 but one would assume it wld be better then Contact2. Contact2 is a much softer tyre then RE050A.
Lets just say that all the bumps and thuds i used to get from RE050A - i dont get anymore.

P.S. Trieu - i'm runing Bridgestone Semi-Slick Potenza RE-01R on the rears and Contact 2 on the fronts, i got them too cheap of a mate and could't get a complete package.
But these tyres aparently go for $700 a corner unless u look arnd and maybe get them for cheaper. But with that said i have no complaints about either tyre.
Love it, good in the wet (I think much better then RE050A) and even better in the dry

can qualify exactly which PZero's you had as there are number of tyres in the PZero range?

They were not the Nero or Corsa.
They are now probably fern baskets in K-mart.
