Just an update on this. After phoning AVO to order the brackets, I was told that I'd need to measure the distance between the 2 bolts on the sway bar mount. This was due to the issues of fitment regardless of cars being 2L, 2.5L, N/A or turbo.
So measure them before you order.

How is that possible? The chassis would be the same for a particular make. There might be slight variances due to manufacturing tolerances but it shouldn't make the difference between it fitting or not...

Yeah the bolt spacing is different on each of the two different brackets you can get. I'm not sure if the change is due to pre/post facelift or what, but the spacing is quite distinctly different from one another so as long as you are accurate to within +/- 3mm or so you will be OK.

I didn't matter that my car was pre-facelift or 2.5i etc. Aparrently there have been a few returns due to brackets not fitting so now they just ask what the bolt spacing is.
