Am I right in saying the front is realitivly straight bolt on and the rear I need and adaptor? I dont really care if I need new rotors. All im worried about is mounting the actuall caliper.

the fronts will bolt on.
same same across all the impreza/liberty/legacy
just need to watch the disc you're putting on as the newer STis run a 114.3 PCD
rears will need anchors made up.

Is this a "off the shelf" part or will i need to get a engineer/fabricator to make it ?

Have a read of that... looks to be pretty straight forward!
I have hopefully all the neccesary parts on order so that I should be able to bolt all 4 up on mine soon!

here ya go reaper...the rears i stuck with the 2 pot fhi calipers
make sure your rims will not hit the calipers
you will need rotor for the front and back as they are biggggger
the calipers from a late model wrx sti (pcd 5 x 114.3) can be used
but not the rotors.

Did STI's with Brembo's only come in 114.3 PCD? Was there any 100PCD versions and will brembo's from these fit?
Im looking at picking up a set of brembo's and I just want to make sure I get it right!
Thanks a bunch!
Parting out....
