If you measure the side step at the front and at the back, you'll see it's actually level. Most lowering springs should level the front and back equally. It's just that the front guard is higher than the back (I'm guessing to allow for steering safely under load?), so when you lower the car evenly at all 4 corners, the front will continue to appear higher (or have more gap) than the rear.

even if you look in the workshop manual, it tells you that the front is supposed to sit higher.

makes for sterring clearance IF the car is bottomed out.

point to note: i've meausred a new liberty at subaru and then looked in the workshop manual, seems like the USDMs are set higher then the AUDM ones

Thats with Lows on a 3R Spec B which has the Bilstein Struts, it sat reasonable lowish stock.

Haha g'day Phil its been a while, a GT Spec B will be my next car in 18 months to 2 years time. Probably would do the same sort of things as I did last time with the lib but chase a couple of kW's extra.

Ive still got the 07 Rex, its a bit of fun for the time being ,it has no problem overtaking most things lol. Still miss my old Lib sometimes but ill get another one in the future lol
