Airbag suspension in a Liberty - what are your thoughts?

Nice looking ride if it didn't have all those sponsor stickers but contemplating this route after installing an air system in my friends euro.

Engineering certs are essential, but not always. If the remotes are in the boot thats 'legal' but not in the front.
All bags are different my mate and his dad did all the labour themselves. Which Saved a lot of moola. Being a Subaru sure things and parts would be different. It just depends. The guy up here like I said is the go to guy, does everything cheap and 100%. A heaps genuine guy that enjoys helping out.

It's on the cards, I mean I haven't fully studied it for libs, but my wagon has bags and I'd love to see them on my liberty. I feel like saying challenge accepted, ill see what the new year brings. Possibly new bags

Just remembering also second hand parts make things cheaper again!

It was actually in Melbourne, eastern burbs. Dude wanted drug money for it.

Just to clear up engineering certs are nessecary to keep your car registered. If a police officer, Rta inspector or the garage where you get your pinks slips done checks your suspension mods without a cert instant defect/ fail pink slip. tow it home.

I'm speaking from experience mate I got done with a complete bolt in kit in my magna wagon.
Remotes can be anywhere in your car you want, your still going to get screwed by the authorities if you don't have a certificate.

Also if you know a servo/ inspection station that does pink slips and passes your car with bags, they will be investigate and probably lose their inspection license for passing shady cars.

I don't mean to be rude or sound rude mate, just saying the facts as I have been caught out before believing other peoples thoughts.

you don't sound rude? I understand where you're coming from... but when you know the people and know what they do and how long they've had their stuff for etc it's kinda a no brainer, but each to there own
but yes you do need certs like i said BUT not always with a winky face i think i put there. There is a lot of behind the scenes action from a lot of places/ cars... And i'm sure you know of many!
people of authority know heaps about cars... but do they..? I've watched a few police look over a wagon for about half an hour, and all they found were a couple of almost bald tires. These were highway petrol cops mind you

little did they know the car had bags, extractors and all bits and pieces..

I picked up this car.. airbags had been removed (thank goodness) and original bilsteins put back on.

The reason the car has got an auto transmission upgrade was because the airbags had done some form of damage to it (or something related to it, bit foggy on that).
