18x8.5" +30!!!

Depends on how low you go. I got rubbing with my 8.5+50 fitted with 225 tyres. But my car was pretty low. Also, I didn't want to go crazy with camber so I only had about 1 degree camber at the front. It would hit the guard when going over a large bump at high speed.

I'm running 18 x 8.5 +32.
You'll need stretched rubber and camber if you want to run it lowish.
I'm using 215 45 and it rubs a little on the back. 225 and above won't work unless you want it to look like a 4x4

225 works fine. I'm using 225/45/18 on 18x8.5 +44 at stock height and stock camber. Stretch is not too bad. 235 should also work. 245 will definitely NOT work without guard flaring, but it does make for a perfectly straight sidewall.







Here's a couple of pics of 245/45/18 vs 225/45/18 rubber (both same make and brand - Kumho KU31) on identical 8.5" +44 rims (Rota Gravels). The 245 is on the left in each pic. The 225 is on the right. The sidewall stretch is quite visible on the 225.





Here's what the 245/45/18 rubber on an 8.5" rim looks like on the front of my car (stock height, stock camber) - it sticks out a lot. Naturally the 225 tucks in.



The sticking out is less obvious with 245 on the back, but it still sticks out a little, thus requiring flaring (pic wasn't exciting enough to be worth posting).

Thanks for the help everyone! I think +30 is going to look a little silly without coilovers and camber... I'll keep looking, waiting for enkei to release their new RR range of wheels

BBS CHs, they're made for an Audi or something so not even sure if the hub will fit... But they are 5x100...
