I fully, whole heartedly and undeniably agree that most install coilovers for sick drop and street cred.

They'll never use them to full capacity and will cruise round with them at sick height.

If you dont track your car, coilovers are purely wank factor.

Hard to answer this whilst remaining tactful.

If you're spending under 3000-3500, theyre all the same shit.

For me personally I plan to get them so I can get the exact ride height I want.
I will probably very rarely adjust them once they are how I want them and you will probably be able to count the number of track days they ever do one one hand.

I highly doubt anyone could talk me out of getting them though, even if they aren't necessarily the best option for a daily driver.

In the end it comes down to what you want for your car, and not necessarily what anyone else tells you is best or better.

If everyone did the most sensible thing we wouldn't have stuff like viewtopic.php?f=5&t=14078 :)

That's what I'm saying. If everyone was sensible we wouldn't get enjoyment out of seeing ridiculous cars.

I get enjoyment out of paying out on ridiculous cars. Not from having one. Very distinct difference.

If you want to make it look good, with no real increase or decrease in performance, then you want a $20 hacksaw, and cut the springs for the desired height. Zip tie them to the perches so they dont dislodge under full droop.

It will meet your requirements and save a thousand dollars. Not even kidding here.

Alright I'll be the first to admit. I want them for the wank factor lol. Although I do like the adjustability of height if I ever were to get frowned upon and simple dampner adjusters are good too. Not really look to track just want a slightly firmer ride without getting into "bent rim" territory. Looking at bcs and kw cause of the reasonable price. Not terribly worried about $$ but prob would like to spend under $2k. Can both bc br and kw v2 be rebuilt?

Dont Quote me on this. but i think Bc's can be rebuilt as in replace induvidual parts or replace the whole shock part. but it cannot be revalved. unlike teni which can be fully rebuilt and revalved. :?: Corrections Please
+1 for wanking
