I saw these new STi rims in the metal for the first time at the Motor Show on Friday and I have to agree with you all and say there're not as good as I first thought.
The silver ones I saw lacked 'visual drama' and generally lacked any fine detail that would attract the eye.
In fact the whole car (GT tuned by STi) was a bit low in the visual WOW factor. The one at the show did have the nice JDM grill but the wheels and the stealth black Brembos where a bit disappointing.
The value is still there however and did I see someone say it has a STi lower arm bar as well.
Michael.

They've got to be 8" wide before you can put decent rubber on them.
8.5" would be ideal for a 245/40 and the rolling diameter is identical to a 215/45.
