Aggressive Offset/Hella Flush Liberty's Etc... Yessss!

This is how my car normally sits:


17x7.5 TE37's with 215/40 tires

then i tried these rims:


18x8 something rathers with 245/30's on them
Kinda hella flush, they needed more camber and lowering though!

A bit of -ve camber and they will tuck nicely!

I'll try get a full car shot sometime soon. Just took my front lip off yesterday (at the request of the girlfriend, claims it looks "boy racer"-ish). I personally think the front lip really set it off. So much more aggressive.

In regards to the colour, I do like how aggressive the car looks with the dark wheels, but I prefer silver, just because it makes the car more subtle and.. OEM looking.

Wheels are 18x9 +35, with 225/40/18 Nexen 3000's.

Camber: F: -2.5 R: -2.0 (or -1.5, can't remember now)

I had to do a lot of grinding/trimming/sanding/rolling/hammering to get the car as low as it is now without rubbing (except when you hit large bumps or dips at speed). I do want to lower it a tiny bit more.. maybe 10-20mm all round but seems to need a lot of work to make happen. The only real issue is the tab that mounts the front bumper to the fender, it's the only part that rubs and tears my front tires to sheds. The guys in the US have been able to relocate it but I'm yet to find any real detailed info on how and where to relocate it to. So if any of you boys have any ideas or links. Please share. Thanks.

Hey dude, youre rims look so good. exactly what i want:
18x9 +35 ROTA G-FORCE but with 235/40/18 P Zero Rosso's.
Question: so ive got the MY06 Sti Wagon, havent lowered it any further or done anything to it (dont want it any lower my front lip already scrapes on driveways etc) so will I fit these rims and tyres easily?
I do want the look, but am unsure if having the negative camber will affect longevity of tyres.
tyre places i go to look all stressed out when i tell em what i want to do and are like "na you cant even do it"....they obviously havent seen yours! but i do want em to be practical cos its my work car.

Can go -2.5 camber without any real excessive tyre wear - just make sure the toe is set to 0.00 all round.
Toe kills tyres ALOT quicker than camber.

Anyways, I found that the rear tyres had camber wear when running -2.0. But the fronts wore fine at -2.5.

If your car isn't lowered, if you avoid hitting any big bumps or dips you should be fine, they will look a bit odd though as they'll stick out a lot.. And I mean a lot. Even if you ran a lot of camber to make them fit and look alright, the higher your car, the more they look like they stick out..

I wouldn't suggest this set up for you if you're not going to lower your car anymore, to make it looks and perform (not that you'll be getting any performance benefits from running such a set up) its best, you're going to need coilovers.

Nah, not mine, my brothers - he still hasn't picked them, just sitting in my garage...

Did/do you have the Whiteline Bush (KCA399) or the Arm Kit (KTA124)?
If you didn't/don't have either, the wear on the rear would be because you can't adjust toe basically at all.
If you did/do have them, I'd take my car to another wheel aligner...

RUSHN, if you don't lower the car and run that size tyre, you'll be Mexiflush = no good.
If you really don't want to lower the car, run some 255/35's so it atleast looks meaty.

I had the camber bushes. But I was running them for a LONG time before I had the bushes put in + alignment so I'm unsure if the wear was from before or after the alignment.

0 toe -3.75degrees F ; -4.5degrees R

I read that the wider guards may appear wider, but underneath the normal liberty guard is still there, so the dumped outback above would have had to cut/grind off the existing guard underneath the outback guards.
