Postby Subie Boy » Sun Sep 07, 2008 2:15 pm

Hi all

I am thinking of getting 20s on my Lib and wanted your opinions on the following selections (please let me know what you think) oh and by the way my car is black, here goes:

ITEM 1:
http://www.ozzytyres.com.au/Content_Com ... Volore.seo

ITEM 2:
http://www.ozzytyres.com.au/Content_Com ... els_C2.seo

ITEM 3:
http://www.ozzytyres.com.au/Content_Com ... ls_E14.seo

ITEM 4:

ITEM 5:

I am leaning towards the SSW Eclipse wheels (Item 5) but the rest of them seem good as well....decisions decisions hehehe let me know what you all think!!

Thank you in advance!

i'd prefer the Evulve - C2, out of the selection, just my personal opinion.. not really into the whole bling look.

Damn you. I miss chrome.

Though not a big fan of any of them, if I had to pick I'd go Item 2.

chrome....hmm my mate used to have bling on his old car and was so easy to piss him off by just by sticking my finger print on it.

Just like kvn, I'm not a chromie boy but just looking at them, c2's look ok.
I suggest to photohack them onto your car to get a better idea.

How much of a clean freak are you? Depends on whether or not you want them spotless all the time (what's the point of getting shiny chrome when they look dirty and don't shine? gotta keep up the appearance!) and how dusty your brakes get. When I had chrome wheels, I would clean them at least twice a day. Once before leaving the house for work, and then once before leaving work for home.

Good thing about chrome is that they glide a lot better than paint, so simply wiping a cloth/towel over the surface will usually do it. Whereas painted wheels require a bit of water to break through the caked dirt. :D

It depends how anal you are about keeping your car & wheels clean.
Like Jim said chrome is easy to clean just a wipe over & there done.
I only clean mine when I wash the car, and I'm happy with that!!

With all of those wheels being 8.5" be very careful with the offset, I found when looking for my 20s all of the 20x8.5 at the time had the wrong offset :( as there designed to go on larger cars than the lib eg commys & falcons
