Anyone Got Bulletproof Nuts?

Postby Ginger Ninja » Thu Feb 26, 2009 7:53 pm

So with new wheels I'm a bit more worried about some unscrupulous a-hole walking off with them.

I saw the STi ones are around $500. No thanks. Some Volk branded McGuards for about $350. Perhaps. Project Mu for $170. Hmmm.

They can be any colour as long as they're black.

What's good? What's rubbish? Any recommendations?

Yeap, I am another McGaurd fan.

Looks good and the actual nut is just the right length.

Wow, those are pretty hefty prices. I reckon you could get unbranded McGards in black for under $150.

Don't know their measurements exactly... But there are actually now 3 sizes offered by most companies.

I'm running the medium size ones, which are about 40% longer then the standard wheel nuts.

Volk ones aren't made by McGard, they are made themselves.

At the moment, I can get you a full set of 16 SplineDrive standard nuts + 4 locking nuts for ~$180-190 delivered to your door.
