Alloy control arms Gen 4

Postby slipperysnake » Tue Aug 10, 2021 8:13 pm

Good evening all, I am after some information in regards to front allow control arms to suit a gen 4. I am wanting to see if anyone knows where I could get some new alloy arms or if second hand is the only option. Ive seen that superpro offer some to suit the GR wrx/sti (part number: ALOY0015K) which have similar mounting points. Does anyone know if these are a viable option? Cheers guys :)

Nigel Squires on facebook advertised a full set of alloy front and rear arms just recently. Looked like a good kit!

Are the alloy LCAs specific to the tbSTis? or are they a more generic part.
I'm looking to upgrade and refresh the underbody of my GTB with some lightened parts

They’re stock equivalent on all counts bar the steel inserts for the ball joints.

Most wrecker parts won’t have the ball joints included so neither the steel cones.

Generally these may or not be supplied, if you have pics they’re black and can be seen on a top view.

Its a ally looking cone hole w/o.

Around $70 or more a pair at the dealership parts counter, but check for stock or order prior.

Its the same part as found on GR etc STi ally control arms, I’m fairly sure as procuring a set was not a drama, locally.

Like this: https://www.google.com.au/search?q=sti+ ... ent=safari

Postfl arms have the hid leveler tab on one arm.
