I have the RE001s and have either driven on or owned RE050A, PZero (Rosso and Nero), FK452, RT215 and 615, GSD3, Mythical Marigolds and many others.

Short of going with a proper semi like a RE055, the RE050A is the duck's guts. Nothing else available in Australia gives the same level of feedback and grip in both wet and dry conditions.

Then it just comes down to price. As much as I like the RE050A, I reckon they cost too much. I bought the RE001 for their value and reckon on that basis, everything above (sans GSD3) is pretty good.

I went with the Toyo proxes 4. Have only done 200km so I can't really tell too much, but they are quiet, and don't squeal like a girl too early, but they are squirmy... i hopr that is just the release compound, or at worst the height of the tread having just come from near bald 452's...
Whiteline rear sway, King lows, Custom quad tip muffs, Subi sport grill, HID's, Boost guage, JL slot port 12" off the standard mac, RB3l 18's ezeflash tune 150.9kw@4w 15psi 36degC...
