Newly purchased car - does it look lowered?

Postby noplacebo » Sun Nov 09, 2014 9:13 pm

Hi,
Just purchased this car from a dealer and looking at it as a complete newbie it looks lower than I expected.
Is this how they came stock? Has it been lowered? Has the suspension sagged?
it's a 2005 my06 liberty 2.5i
TIA

Not really, someone questioned me on mine however its just how they are.

Possibly fresh springs/struts would make it a big higher. I think with use they may become a touch lower over time.

Ah good to know. Don't mind where it's sitting at the moment so not too worried. Drives fine :)

It looks a little lower than stock at the rear, but not by much - that could be due to some weight in the boot, or the springs may have sagged with age.

The front looks about right (noting that unless it's a perspective thing, the wheel to arch gap at the front looks bigger than at the back, at least to my eyes).

The car looks to be sitting pretty "flat" front to rear (noting the distance between the doorsills and the ground), so no issues there.
