NSW Guys - HELP - Astronomical Freight Cost

Postby suff » Thu Aug 14, 2008 5:28 pm

Hi Guys

I need some help.. as most of you know, I picked up some Blitzen 18's off Ebay a couple of weeks ago..

Just tried to organise some freight.. and have been quoted $360!!! to ship them from NSW to Perth.. (On Greyhound Freight.. so it would take 1-2weeks)

Considering its only $100 for a set of wheels from Tempe Tyres.. there has to be a better way..

So.. guys.. what / who should I call!?

If anyone happens to work for / own a courier freight company, I am happy to pay you directly and can provide you with pickup and drop off adresses

Cheers

Ghostbusters? :P

Have you tried to see if a local tire shop near the seller's house would be willing to ship to your location? But I think there was a thread on the forum before in which a lot of people rattled off some courier companies willing to do this.

Ahh! It's not just me then! I'm noticing it's happening to a lot more people in the last few days.
