Rear shock absorbers for Liberty GT MY04 (wagon)

Hi

Can anyone advise where in Sydney I can by some standard rear shocks? I've been struggling to find any where.

Also, any advice on changing them? I'm a component home mechanic but haven't changed them on a subarau before.

I replaced mine with standard kyb. Cost was (for my car at least) $90 for the rears & $160 for front struts from Paul at Online Performance Autos (Ph. 03 9703 1652.)
My advice is to use the best quality spring compressors you can get your hands on -there's a shite load of energy in a compressed spring!
......& use a rattle gun.
Also, check if your car has auto levelling rears -you'll need to replace springs as well if they are.
The job itself is easy tho.
