MY11 Wrx Front struts into 05 LGT???

Hi guys,

I'm not sure if this subject has been covered already. Just needing a second or a third opinion to confirm MY11 wrX Front struts will bolt onto 05 LGT.

The seller assures me it will bolt on but the mechanic has advised after trying to install that the MY11 wrx front struts doesn't fit in the 05 LGT hub.

sounds odd that the mechanic can't get them to fit:

-05 LGT gear bolts onto SH forester
-08-13 WRX gear bolts onto SH forester
-SH forester gear bolts into 08-13 WRX (looks awesomely funny too)

Ergo 08-13 WRX gear will go into 05 LGT.

Front Hubs between BP/BL, SH Foz and GR WRX are identical
