KYB Shock question

Hey guys,
I have a friend who can get me 4 new KYB Excel-G shocks for $490 and I was wondering if anyone has an educated opinion on them
The reason I'm considering them over 2nd hand Billies is warranty and a level of confidence that they haven't been abused to within an inch of their life.
I don't fang my car but I do like good handling so I was planning to stick some STI pinks on them and a 20mm rear sway bar.

Thoughts?
Ps, searched for ages on the topic but found nothing

The STI pinks are designed to ride on Bilsteins, I have no idea whether they'll fit the KYB struts or what the ride would be like. Might be best to look at a different spring?
