I'd say highly unlikely. I just put my stock gen 3 heritage wheels on my mates gen 2 wagon and there wasn't a lot of room between the wheel and the suspension. They were only 205's. So you'd want a lower offset to get 225's under there which I assume would be on a 7-8inch wide rim. The lower the offset the more it'll poke out the guard, but the more clearance you'll have to the suspension. This will mean you'll at least need to roll the guards. Especially if you go lower than stock. If you lower it with coilovers you'll get a bit more room in the wheel well though.
