B4 spring/shock options

Postby eightsixboy » Thu Aug 30, 2012 4:17 pm

Hi all,

Just recently bought a 2001 B4, unfortunently the previous owner has replaced the shocks with pedders about a year ago (bet they ended up on ebay).

I have done somne research and there seems to be bugger all available for the Gen3 libs, cant even get a set of Tokico struts for it.

Just wondering what you guys have done, Im trying not to go coilovers but it looks like it might be the way to go as to get decent springs and Koni's or new Bilstein's is going to cost as much as a set of Tein's anyways.

Any suggestions? The car is going to be 95% daily, maybe 1-2 track days a year.

Thanks.

I am currently looking at new suspension for my B4. I have the bilsteins but want to get into some coilovers bcauz there is way too much clearance between my tyres and guards. Its desperately in need of some lowering and some stance.

The only problem is that the mechanic told me i also need new rotors today. So the money going towards coilovers has now disappeared and will now go into some new slotted rotors and pads all round.

When i get around to it i will be selling my bilsteins if your still interested but will be atleast a month away (money situation)
