KW variant 2 Coilovers feedback

Postby jacks-GTB » Sat May 12, 2012 12:04 pm

Hey guys,

My current setup is Billy's with king springs....so I'll be doing some track days once my car is finished
And I'm looking into KW Variant 2 coilovers...

Does anybody have feedback on them.?

Also how they hold up on the track.?

Cheers Jack :)

I haven't tracked them but for every day use they're great, still comfortable giving road feel

If you're going to track it perhaps consider the Racecomps which are a KW2 coilover rebuilt to suit a track/street application.

And get them to change spring rates to 7F and 9R.

I've currently got Racecomps and most people love the way the car rides and handles.

Troy at ProSpeed are the Australian distributors and pricing was almost identical to getting them from the US when I was looking.

I'm not completely sure where's the best place to get them right now though.

Also being KW, sort of, there are enough shops that know how to rebuild them, when the time comes.

I got mine off a forum member and couldn't be happier. Pics etc are in my profile thread.

Cheers.
