Will 235/40r18 fit standard 08 STI rim?

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has fit a 235/40r18 to the standard 08 liberty STI rim? I'd like to do this just to get a wider look tyre and a bit more height so I don't scrape nearly every driveway I drive into. It's standard height so I'm hoping it should clear the guards etc. it would help of someone has tried this. I've got 225/40's on it now so it's only giving me 10 more mm and a bit more height.
